I’ve always had positive thoughts about former president Theodore Roosevelt. Until now. A blog I read regularly, letters of note (http://www.lettersofnote.com) posted a letter ‘Teddy’ wrote on the issue of eugenics. I was completely blown away at the manner in which he spoke of human beings – as no more than cattle.
Clearly, worldview matters far more than one’s politics. I know he’s dead and gone (Teddy, that is) but this highlights – once again – that just because someone is a Republican doesn’t make them a friend of the unborn.
